It’s the question we get asked most, and the one we least like answering with a single figure, because it would be misleading: filming a client testimonial in an office doesn’t cost the same as covering a two-day festival with several cameras. Even so, here are the real factors that make up the budget, so you know what to ask when requesting a price.

What factors determine the price

  • Days of filming and length of the final video. A short 30-60 second video for social media doesn’t take the same time as a 3-5 minute corporate piece with several locations.
  • Number of cameras and technical equipment. Lighting, live sound, drone, stabilisers: each technical element adds set-up and crew time.
  • Number of locations. Filming in a single space is faster and cheaper than moving between several venues or outdoor locations.
  • Post-production. Editing, colour grading, graphics/motion graphics, subtitling and licensed music add editing hours that don’t show during filming but do show in the final result.
  • Delivery formats. Delivering a single video isn’t the same as also adapting it to vertical format for Reels, Stories and TikTok.

Why we don’t give a fixed rate without knowing the project

Any figure we gave you here without more context would be, at best, a rough guide, and at worst, misleading. An event video, an advertising spot and a series of corporate testimonials are different projects with different cost structures. We’d rather give you a real quote based on your project than a generic range that later doesn’t hold up.

What you can expect from a serious production company

  • A pre-production phase (script or outline, references, filming plan) before switching on a single camera.
  • Its own technical team, not put together on the fly for the occasion.
  • Delivery in the formats you’ll actually use (horizontal, vertical, with and without subtitles).
  • An agreed number of revisions before starting, so there are no surprises.

Our approach at DKZ Studio

We’re an agency and a production company in the same team, so we work on audiovisual production in two ways: integrated within a marketing management pack (our entry-level pack, Boost your reach, includes photo and video production every 2 months for €590 +VAT/month) or as a one-off project with a bespoke quote, for businesses that need a specific piece without hiring social media management.

If what you need is a live broadcast, the factors change: number of cameras, venue connectivity and graphics. Our production partner, Audiovisuales Murcia, explains it in detail in their professional streaming guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to film a corporate video in Murcia?

It depends on the real scope of the project: length, number of locations, technical equipment needed and delivery formats. That’s why we don’t give a generic figure without knowing the project — ask us for a quote telling us what you need and we’ll tailor it.

Is audiovisual production included in DKZ Studio’s social media management packs?

Yes. Our entry-level pack, Boost your reach (€590 +VAT/month), includes photo and video production every 2 months. For one-off audiovisual projects outside a pack, we work with a bespoke quote.

Do you work with your own team or outsource production?

We work with our own technical team: camera, lighting, sound and editing. That lets us control timing and quality from start to finish.
